My dad has a job for the "county" and helps older specal people, science MOST of them can't get married or do jobs. is name was Woodie, and he's been having problems all his life, but went into the hospital a month ago and died this morning. I remember playing with him, and talking with him. But now I can't. This is th first time anyone (not counting pets) has died and i don't know what do, i feel like just laying down to die

You simply go on living and don't think about it and just go on about your life and never look back or second guess your decisions in life and you will go far

he never said forget, he said don't think about it and don't look back. That's the part that hurts the most.

Amber, the best way that i have found to go through a death in the family, or someone whowas close to you. Is keep a picture of him close by, talk to the picture(i know it sounds crazy, but it helps as it gives you the sensation of actually talking face to face to the person), do something that you and thatperson would do alot with someone knew, share the experience of him with the new generation. Don't feel like it was your fault. The idea of someone dying is false, if you keep him/her aslive in your heart and in others hearts. Is he really dead? Maybe physically, but not mentally/emotionally. Know that death is not something that you can avoid. You said that he was having problems in his life. Know that where he is now, is happier for him, know that it makes him fell alot bbetter, and he knows that you cared for him. he is in a better place.
