I remember hearing somewhere that insted of the death penalty the put a big picture of the people[s] they killed on all sides of the jail wall.
I think that would be enough, but i would add pictures of the familey of them crying, along with the picture of the people[s] he/she killed.

They should only give a death penalty when the prisoner murders someone.

Yeah, only if they kill someone... And yet all life has value.
Except for those who are flat out cruel, and coldhearted and kill for no reason. That's... wrong.
